About this event
This learning network event focuses on how building community resilience can promote youth health outcomes and positive youth health decision-making behaviors by presenting key takeaways and learnings from a systematic literature review and key informant interviews performed by USAID’s YouthPower2: Learning and Evaluation activity. More specifically, the findings presented will focus on how community resilience is defined, successful resilience programming, measurement of community resilience, connections between community resilience and youth health resilience, approaches for mitigating the effects of shocks and stressors on youth health outcomes, and areas for future youth research and interventions
During this webinar attendees will:
- Define community resilience within the context of youth programming.
- Explore how community resilience has been measured in youth programming.
- Promote successful examples of community resilience programming and approaches for mitigating shock and stressors on youth health outcomes.
