This document describes the experiences of four youth leaders from the municipality of San Martín in El Salvador during RETO’s Youth Leadership and Advocacy Training in El Salvador. The training took place over the course of three days, during which Jóvenes contra la Violencia Guatemala (JCV-GT), in coordination with Jóvenes contra la Violencia El Salvador, built the capacity of 60 young people in leadership skills, political advocacy, human rights, confident communication, and youth empowerment. Metamorphosis launched during this exercise, the advocacy plan established by the four youth leaders, which aims to promote a culture of peace and develop community leadership through the rehabilitation of public spaces with murals.
