Who are the Young People  Increasing Our Development Impact  Meaningful Versus Tokenistic  Opportunities and Barriers  Putting Your Knowledge into Practice

1. Who Are the Young People

Distinguishing the various groups of young women and adolescent girls and exploring different approaches to engaging them.
Estimated time to complete: 1 hour 35 minutes
This will cover:
a.    Identifying diversity within the young people you engage
b.    What inspires young people to engage in, partner in and lead development programs
c.    How to engage diverse groups of young people

MÓDULO UM: QUEM SÃO OS JOVENS

Este módulo visa apoiar os participantes a distinguir entre vários grupos de jovens, com foco nas raparigas adolescentes e mulheres jovens (RAMJ) e explorar diferentes abordagens para envolvê-las. Tempo recomendado para a conclusão do módulo em grupo: 1 hora e 35 minutos.

Até ao final deste módulo, os participantes devem ser capazes de: 
a.    Distinguir as diferenças entre as jovens, raparigas e adolescentes e explicar como estas variam em termos de necessidades.
b.    Descrever como implementarão estratégias de engajamento personalizadas para os diferentes grupos, garantindo a diversidade e a sua inclusão nos programas e nas operações.
c.    Propor papéis significativos e a capacitação personalizada para garantir o envolvimento de um conjunto diversificado de jovens como parte dos processos de desenvolvimento.
