The Use, Utility, and Uptake of YP2LE Products: 2022 Embedded Learning Report
YouthPower2: Learning and Evaluation (YP2LE), implemented by Making Cents International since 2019, is a 5-year activity designed to build, expand, and disseminate positive youth development (PYD) evidence and learning within and across multiple sectors, as well as provide leadership in promoting PYD best practices. The activity also provides rapid response and technical assistance support to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) staff and partners to incorporate PYD evidence and best practices into design, implementation, and evaluation of youth development programs.
This Use, Utility, and Uptake report provides results for the YP2LE-embedded learning plan, a critical piece of the adaptive management process used to inform learning within the Activity and improve performance. It provides inputs and feedback that contributed to the YP2LE Year 4 work plan, as well as information task leads will use by to continue moving activities toward the YP2LE medium- and long-term goals.
YP2LE conducted a mixed-methods study to inform this report, engaging in the following data collection activities:
- Two surveys: (1) a Learning Network member Use and Utility Survey, and (2) a Website Satisfaction Survey
- Key informant interviews (KIIs) and focus group discussions (FGDs) with various YP2LE stakeholders
- Analysis of indicator tracking table (ITT) data for YP2LE
